Melissa (Blend) makes a lovely room spray which has a lovely fragrance and can help to uplift your spirits. It's a lovely calming oil which can help you to relax at bedtime.

Melissa (Blend) is also known as "The Female Oil" - dlluted in a Carrier Oil it makes a lovely massage oil if suffering from symptoms of PMT. We also sell true Melissa Oil in our Speciality Oils section.

This oil is made up of fractions taken from other oils including Lemongrass and Citronella which gives a close approximation to the composition of the whole oil while avoiding the expense of true Melissa.

To diffuse in a traditional burner, simply fill dish with water and add a few drops of oil on top before lighting the candle. For electrical fragrancers, follow instructions given by the manual. For massage: dilute in a carrier oil and gently massage over the skin. Add a few drops to a handkerchief or inhale directly from the bottle if you are on the go. Dilute in distilled water and pour into spray bottle for an all-natural room fragrancer.
Blends beautifully with Lavender, Geranium, Frankincense, Basil and Chamomile.
Dilute to a maximum of 1% in a carrier oil and use in massage for those suffering from symptoms of PMT. Add 2-3 drops to a burner or vaporiser to help calm the mind and reduce stress levels.

Paracelsus called it the Elixir of Life. It was used for anxiety, melancholy and to strengthen and revive the vital spirit.

This oil is such a revitalising oil. It blends well with lavender and i use it to diffuse. I read that it helps manage diabetes and hypertension.
