Clary Sage Essential Oil is a well renowned essential oil; loved by many for its many positive properties. It's intense, relaxing scent can be especially useful in stressful conditions and may be helpful in balancing emotions and promoting feelings of calm and tranquillity.

It can also be used in massage to help ease aches and pains, whilst also offering a sense of balance for women suffering from pre-menstrual stress.

It's also thought to be beneficial for both oily and dry skin types due to its balancing properties.

To diffuse in a traditional burner, simply fill dish with water and add a few drops of oil on top before lighting the candle. For electrical fragrancers, follow instructions given by the manual. For massage: dilute in a carrier oil and gently massage over the skin. Add a few drops to a handkerchief or inhale directly from the bottle if you are on the go. Dilute in distilled water and pour into spray bottle for an all-natural room fragrancer.
Clary Sage blends beautifully with many other oils, but particularly well with Lavender, Bergamot, Rose and Geranium. 
Native to Italy, Syria and southern France but grows well wherever the soil is dry enough.
Use in skincare to help balance oily, acne prone skin - dilute to a maximum of 1% with a base cream or lotion. Dilute to a maximum of 1% in a carrier oil and use in massage to help ease stress and tension. Add a few drops to a bath to help calm the mind and help wind down before bed. Diffuse in a traditional burner or fragrancer to help create a relaxing atmosphere in the home.

Traditionally used as a skin conditioner, astringent, soothing agent and an aphrodisiac.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this scent wise but bought it for it's aromatherapy properties. It's an 'acquired taste' (or smell, rather) I'd say but I like a couple drops mixed with lavender or grapefruit in my oil burner.
