Ylang Ylang essential oil has an attractive fragrance when used on its own - although if used too strongly the perfume can be overbearing and may occasionally cause headaches in a small percentage of people. Always use well diluted in one of Amphora's wide range of Carrier Oils or Base Preparations for skin application (to a maximum of 1%). read more
Ylang Ylang is useful for application in stressful situations and in general skin care, particularly for oily skin. It's an appropriate oil to use in hair rinses thanks to it's excellent hair tonic properties. Historically it has also been used for its intrinsic aphrodisiac properties. Historically, it has been used for its aphrodisiac properties. The flowers are spread on the beds of newly weds in Indonesia.
