A well known Indian Spice with a beautifully warming aroma. Cumin essential oil has a variety of potential applications.

When burned or vaporised it has both a stimulating and calming effect. Within traditional Ayurvedic practices, it has been used to help ease digestive issues by blending with a carrier oil and massaging over the abdomen.

To diffuse in a traditional burner, simply fill dish with water and add a few drops of oil on top before lighting the candle. For electrical fragrancers, follow instructions given by the manual. For massage: dilute in a carrier oil and gently massage over the skin. Add a few drops to a handkerchief or inhale directly from the bottle if you are on the go. Dilute in distilled water and pour into spray bottle for an all-natural room fragrancer.
Cumin is thought to blend well with Coriander, Frankincense, Caraway and Chamomile Essential Oils.
Native to Egypt but now found throughout the Mediterranean and the Far East.
Add a few drops to a diffuser or traditional burner to help calm nervous tension. Dilute to a maximum of 1% and use in massage for the abdomen.

For centuries Egyptians and Hebrews have used cumin as a digestive. Used in traditional Ayurvedic systems to ease digestion.
