To diffuse in a traditional burner, simply fill dish with water and add a few drops of oil on top before lighting the candle. For electrical fragrancers, follow instructions given by the manual. For massage: dilute in a carrier oil and gently massage over the skin. Add a few drops to a handkerchief or inhale directly from the bottle if you are on the go. Dilute in distilled water and pour into spray bottle for an all-natural room fragrancer.
You may find that orange blends particularly well with lavender, neroli, clary sage, myrrh, nutmeg, cinnamon and clove.
Bred first by orange-growers in China, the sweet orange is now widely cultivated in subtropical regions, especially Brazil, the USA, China and India.
Add 3-4 drops to a vaporiser or traditional burner to help calm nervous tension, fill the home with a fresh, joyous scent and help you de-stress. A lovely one to use during the festive season to set the mood - try blending 2-3 drops in a burner with 2 drops Clove & 2 drops Cinnamon. Dilute to a maximum of 1% in a carrier oil and use in massage to help lift the mood and ease the muscles. Add 3-4 drops to a bath to help you relax before bed (try blending with other relaxing oils such as Lavender). A great one to use as a natural air freshener sue to its powerfully sweet and fresh scent - add 20-30 drops to 100ml of distilled water and decant into an atomiser/spray bottle.

Dilute in a carrier oil before skin application. Keep away from children and out of eyes. Do not take internally or apply undiluted to the skin. For further advice on using essential oils to treat medical conditions, we recommend you seek advice from a professional.

Despite its obvious overlapping with Neroli Orange has quite a definite character of its own reflecting the difference you might expect between the flower oil and that from the fruit for the oil of the Orange is warmer and more rounded in aroma with a feeling of jollity about it It seems to carry with it some of the sunshine needed for its ripening and for this reason is a wonderful oil to use in the winter It blends well with almost any of the spice oils Cinnamon Nutmeg or Clove especially and also surprisingly with Lavender and Frankincense

This is my favourite oil! Usually I like sweet, nutty smells like Shea, coconut etc but this sweet Orange is so uplifting and invigorating. I've blended with lavender in an oil and use before bed it makes a beautiful sleep inducer

This has to be one of my favourite essential oils! It is fresh, sweet and somehow comforting all at once. I like to combine it with Frankincense and Petitgrain essential oils for a calming effect that doesn't send me off to sleep. I also use it to flavour my homemade raw organic chocolate! it makes an excellent natural flavouring for food (used carefully) as do the lime, lemon, grapefruit and tangerine essential oils which all work well with this oil too. I would describe it as an uplifting scent and I find it helps with my depression and anxiety, especially combined with other oils that have calming/ soothing and comforting properties. I highly recommend it.
