The Chamomile Matricaria Absolute in this dilution is known to have even greater properties than Chamomile Roman because it has a higher percentage of azulene.

Its thought to be  beneficial to the skin due to it's healing and soothing properties. Chamomile has been used to help calm exczema and other flaky skin conditions and calms red or irritated skin due to it's calming qualities.

It's a very gentle oil which is of ten a popular choice for use with children and the elderly.

To diffuse in a traditional burner, simply fill dish with water and add a few drops of oil on top before lighting the candle. For electrical fragrancers, follow instructions given by the manual. For massage: dilute in a carrier oil and gently massage over the skin. Add a few drops to a handkerchief or inhale directly from the bottle if you are on the go. Dilute in distilled water and pour into spray bottle for an all-natural room fragrancer.
Chamomile Roman blends especially well with bergamot, clary sage, lavender, geranium, jasmine, tea tree, grapefruit, rose, lemon and ylang-ylang.
Add a few drops to a burner or to a bath to enjoy its relaxing and restorative scent - you may find it especially enjoyable before bed. Dilute to a maximum of 1% in a base cream or lotion to help soothe the skin. Dilute to a maximum of 1% in a carrier oil and use in massage to ease away tension and calm a busy mind.
Native in many countries throughout Europe, and are cultivated in such countries as Germany, Egypt, France, Spain, Italy, Morocco, and parts of Eastern Europe.

Used in herbalism for 2,000 years. One of the Saxons nine sacred herbs.
