Camphor Essential Oil is a lovely oil to use during colder weather as it has a wonderful warming effect when used in massage solutions. It's also great to inhale if you're feeling bunged up from a cold (try adding a few drops to a bowl of steaming water.)

Traditionally, it has been used as a deodorant, soothing agent, skin conditioner and muscle relaxant.

To diffuse in a traditional burner, simply fill dish with water and add a few drops of oil on top before lighting the candle. For electrical fragrancers, follow instructions given by the manual. For massage: dilute in a carrier oil and gently massage over the skin. Add a few drops to a handkerchief or inhale directly from the bottle if you are on the go. Dilute in distilled water and pour into spray bottle for an all-natural room fragrancer.
Native to China, Japan and Taiwan. Culitivated in those countries and India, Egypt and Sri Lanka.
Camphor blends especially well with basil, cajeput, chamomile, lavender and melissa.
Dilute to a maximum of 1% in a carrier oil and use as a muscle rub. Use in a steam inhalation if suffering from a cold - add 2-3 drops to a bowl of warm water, hover the head 12 inches from the bowl, close the eyes and remain for a few minutes (discontinue if discomfort arises). Diffuse a few drops in a burner to help refresh the mind. Enjoy a few drops added to a bath to help soothe the joints.

Packing Group II, if they have an initial boiling point greater than 35°C at an absolute pressure of 101.3 kPa and a flash point less than 23°C, such as gasoline (petrol) and acetone; or
Packing Group III, if the criteria for inclusion in Packing Group I or II are not met, such as kerosene and diesel.
