Ylang Ylang essential oil has an attractive fragrance when used on its own - although if used too strongly the perfume can be overbearing and may occasionally cause headaches in a small percentage of people. Always use well diluted in one of Amphora's wide range of Carrier Oils or Base Preparations for skin application (to a maximum of 1%).

Ylang Ylang Essential Oil comes from a small tropical tree whose name means 'Flower of Flowers' and is regarded as a natural aphrodisiac.

Ylang Ylang is useful for application in stressful situations and in general skin care, particularly for oily skin. It's an appropriate oil to use in hair rinses thanks to it's excellent hair tonic properties. Historically it has also been used for its intrinsic aphrodisiac properties. A few drops in one of our wide range of vaporisers or burners and some romantic candlelight will get you and your partner in just the right mood...

It smells really good. I use it for making fragrance and its smell do make me feel happy. I also use it in my massage oil. Hope it can do the 'lifting' things.

Powerful and heady, a little goes a long way. Goes great with frangipani to remind you of a tropical summer night. As you only need a couple of drops the smaller bottle lasts for ages!
