  • Cleansing, fortifying and calming

  • Can be used as a skin toner, as a cooling body mist or added to your bath

  • Our definition is that a Hydrolate is the water recovered from the distillation of the essential oil

Part of our delightfully refreshing range of hydrosols and hydrolats. They can be used as a skin toner, a cooling body mist, added to bath water, as a fragrant linen spray or in the making of soaps and creams.

Please note that as a natural ingredient, the aroma of this particular floral water does not have any resemblance to Lavender itself. It does however contain a number of healing properties which can be hugely beneficial to the skin when used as a natural toner. It is this that makes it a popular product to use within aromatherapy and natural skin care. Excellent for cleansing and fortifying all skin types, they also have a relaxing and calming effect. What are Hydrolats and Hydrosols? Many use the terms interchangeably. Our definitions are that a Hydrolat is the water recovered from the distillation of the essential oil. A Hydrosol is an essential oil dissolved in water. In our opinion these Hydrosols should be used only for cosmetic purposes. Now available in 1L and 5L bulk quantities. Please visit the Bulk Sizes section of the website for these larger sizes.

Lavender water may be particularly beneficial to acne prone skin to help calm and soothe. Please note that Lavender water in this form does have a rather different scent to that of the essential oil.
