The cold winter months often leave our skin feeling dry and damaged. The combination of central heating, harsh winter weather and rainy days can really dry out our skin, leaving it feeling tired, dull and in need of some nourishment!

Our hands are particularly vulnerable to this due to the fact that we need to regularly wash them throughout the day. Conventional soaps and hand washes can be really harsh on our hands and have a tendency to strip our skin of their natural moisture. What’s more the endless list of harsh chemicals contained in conventional liquid soap products can cause irritation and damage to the skin.

Regular hand washing really isn’t something we can avoid if we want to protect yourself and others around you from nasty bacteria, and many of us work in environment where it is required even more frequently to meet hygiene standards.
It is important then to know that the soap we’re using is kind and gentle to the skin and free from harsh chemicals, parabens and toxins. What’s more, we can give our hands a nourishing treat using intense moisturisers with natural ingredients to help restore your hands and regenerate the skin.

The launch of our new AA skincare brand brings with it an innovative selection of liquid soaps which are designed to effectively cleanse the hands without stripping them of their natural moisture. They are enriched with coconut oil, glycerine and a whole host of essential oils to give your hands and your senses a real treat!

We have four gorgeous and original scents to choose from:

• Cinnamon & Spearmint - invigorating and protecting!
• Lime & Clary Sage – calming and restoring with anti-bacterial properties.
• Peppermint & Ginger – refreshing and uplifting.
• Sage & Ylang Ylang –relaxing, soothing, uplifting.

To give your hands a real spring time treat, you can try our Almond & Sandalwood hand cream!
This rich and nourishing hand cream is designed to give hard working hands the tender loving care they deserve. This intensely moisturising hand cream is abundant in gorgeous natural ingredients designed to nourish and protect your hands. These include Sweet Almond Oil, Sandalwood, Aloe Vera, Wheatgerm, Lavender, Jojoba, Chamomile and the list goes on!
Sandalwood oil works hard to help heal dry and damaged skin due to its natural anti-inflammatory properties, whilst Sweet Almond oil contains a whole host of B Vitamins along with Vitamin E which enhance the skins vitality and help to lock in moisture.

It is important to always carry out a patch test before using any natural ingredients you haven’t used before. Just apply a small amount of the blend to the inside on your elbow and keep an eye on the area over the next 24 hours.

If any irritation does occur rinse the area with cool water. If you have blended a few essential oils together you may need to test each one individually to find out which is causing your skin to react.
