Lavender is one of the most versatile of all essential oils It is particularly renowned for its calm inducing and relaxing properties which can offer help to those suffering from day to day stress and insomnia. It is also known as a natural anti-septic, useful for soothing insect bites, burns and acne.

This particular species of Lavender, grown at high altitudes, is thought to be the finest in terms of aroma.

The high altitudes in which this Lavender is grown means that a higher content of esters (50-52%) are produced and this is what gives the oil its wonderful aroma.

To diffuse in a traditional burner, simply fill dish with water and add a few drops of oil on top before lighting the candle. For electrical fragrancers, follow instructions given by the manual. For massage: dilute in a carrier oil and gently massage over the skin. Add a few drops to a handkerchief or inhale directly from the bottle if you are on the go. Dilute in distilled water and pour into spray bottle for an all-natural room fragrancer.
Lavender High Altitude Essential oil blends beautifully with many other oils, but in particular with Geranium, Tea Tree,
France.
Add a few drops to a handkerchief and place under pillow to help you drift off at night. Dilute to a maximum of 1% in a base lotion or cream to help soothe acne breakouts and insect bites. Add 4-5 drops to a warm bath to relax and calm the mind. Dilute to a maximum of 1% and use in massage to help reduce stress levels.

Dilute in a carrier oil before skin application. Keep away from children and out of eyes. Do not take internally or apply undiluted to the skin. For further advice on using essential oils to treat medical conditions, we recommend you seek advice from a professional.

Love this oil. It seems quite volatile, and has a delicate but intense lavender smell, more immediate and perhaps a little sweeter than ordinary lavendar.

I absolutely LOVE this oil. I suffer with migraines and its perfect using a couple of drops on my pillow or burning in my oil burner. I also use when I am massaging.
