Tangerine essential oil has been believed to be useful in reducing the appearance of stretch marks. Used in massage it may have a lovely relaxing effect to help calm the mind and body.

Its a sweet, fresh and fruity oil that will help to lift spirits and promote a positive mood. It is also thought to be useful for use on those with oily complexions to help balance and refresh the skin (always dilute to 1% before skin application). 

Its a lovely relaxing oil to have in the burner and may be useful to have on the go if you're trying to settle the children down for bed.

To diffuse in a traditional burner, simply fill dish with water and add a few drops of oil on top before lighting the candle. For electrical fragrancers, follow instructions given by the manual. For massage: dilute in a carrier oil and gently massage over the skin. Add a few drops to a handkerchief or inhale directly from the bottle if you are on the go. Dilute in distilled water and pour into spray bottle for an all-natural room fragrancer.
You may find that Tangerine essential oil blends particularly well with Bergamot, Cinnamon, Clary Sage, Clove, Frankincense, Lavender, Nutmeg and Neroli.
Native to China but now produced in many countries worldwide including Argentina. It's name comes from Tangier in Morocco which was the first port involved in shipping the oil to Europe.
Dilute to a maximum of 1% with a carrier oil such as Jojoba and use in massage to de-stress and promote softer, smoother skin. Add 3-4 drops to a burner to help you unwind and relax in the evening. Enjoy a few drops added to a bath to help calm a busy mind. Add a few drops to your shampoo to promote shine and softness of the hair.

Regarded as a safe remedy for children with indigestion when applied via massage.

Dilute in a carrier oil before skin application. Keep away from children and out of eyes. Do not take internally or apply undiluted to the skin. For further advice on using essential oils to treat medical conditions, we recommend you seek advice from a professional.
