As the colder months draw in it’s important to ensure we keep our immune system in tip top condition. This helps us to ward off breakouts of colds and flu.

Getting a decent amount of sleep, ensuring you’re getting the nutrition you need and staying hydrated are the key fundamentals in helping you stay healthy and happy. Using pure essential oils is also very effective.

One of the most invigorating and refreshing oils, Peppermint oil is great to keep handy during the colder months. Its natural antiseptic & anti-inflammatory properties make it great for keeping the airways clear and its invigorating aroma helps to avoid and clear congestion, allowing you to breathe more effectively.

Peppermint is more concentrated than a lot of other oils so only small amounts are required.

To help you breathe deep and clear your sinuses, try adding the following blend to burner / vaporiser or a hot bath. If adding to the bath try blending with a tablespoon of milk to help it disperse.

2 drops Peppermint – soothing, cooling and clearing.
2 drops Tea Tree – stimulating, refreshing and energizing.
1 drop Rosemary – protecting, strengthening and uplifting.
